Wildlands Partnership is an initiative of Northeast Wilderness Trust in collaboration with Wildlands & Woodlands, Sweet Water Trust, and local land trusts in New England and New York. The Partnership aims to accelerate wildlands conservation across the Northeast by providing funding, technical support, and access to the carbon market for small land trusts. These conservation projects help to meet local, regional, and even international goals to connect wildlife habitat, protect biodiversity, and fight climate change. See how the collaboration with Cornwall Conservation Trust has resulted in permanent protections on three Preserves totaling 375 acres in beautiful northwestern Connecticut. Northeast Wilderness Trust is actively working with additional land trusts in this region to further secure resilient, core wildlands for wildlife and people.
