Cycle Cornwall Preserves with Cornwall Conservation Trust

Meet at the Cornwall Library

A (relatively) easy 11-mile bicycle ride in Cornwall, stopping to hike through three of the Cornwall Conservation Trust Preserves: Ballyhack Preserve, Welles Preserve, and Cathedral Pines Preserve. Each hike is about a mile and will take about 40 minutes.

From the Library, we will ride around the village to loosen up our legs, then ride along Pine Street cross Route 4 and ride up Route 125 (stopping at Ballyhack Preserve). Then we continue up Route 125 and turn left onto Route 128, then right onto Wright Hill Road, left onto Cogswell Road then immediately right onto Cream Hill Road, right onto Rattlesnake Road, left onto Cogswell Road, right onto Town Street (stopping at Welles Preserve). From here we continue on Town Street, turn left onto Route 128, turn right at the flashing red lights, left onto Great Hollow Road and continue straight until we turn left onto Everest Hill, and at the bottom of the hill turn right onto Valley Road. Then we turn right onto Essex Hill (stopping at Cathedral Pines Preserve). Exiting Cathedral Pines we will cycle back down to the valley, turn right onto Pine Street and finish at the Library.

Please ensure that your bicycle is in working order and wear a bicycle helmet. Normal Covid precautions.

Your bicycles will be guarded while you are walking in the Preserves. Check back for weather updates.
