The location of the annual mushroom walk at 1 PM Saturday, October 22 is changed. Nature did not cooperate with a bumper crop of fungi at Trinity Forest Preserve on Dibble Hill. So, the new location will be Welles Preserve on Town Street, 1/4 mile from the intersection of Route 128…look for the pink ribbons.
For the more adventurous, plan on spending a little more time hiking to the top of the trail for an iconic view of Cornwall in all its fall finery.
It’s also a good time to see the newly marked trail indicating various tree species within the preserve… Bring your QR Reader!

This Mushroom Tour with foraging is a very popular event. Dave skillfully and joyfully leads us through the wonderful world of Fungi. You can’t imagine how many kinds are close at hand and what amazing roles they play in our ecology. We even end with a serenade.
